With over 38 years exclusively in medical real estate, Mr. Donati focuses on client relations and business development for MCB Science + Health. Based in Atlanta, GA, Mr. Donati has spent his entire career in the medical office and outpatient facility industry. His diverse background includes medical space planning, design, leasing, development, and construction of more than 4.5 million square feet of medical buildings for health systems and large clinics in 30+ states.
Since 2009 he has held senior level business development and strategic management roles with national medical real estate firms. Prior to joining MCB Science + Health, Damian was SVP with Sina Companies, and before that was founder and president of DONATI Health Partners, developing healthcare projects and providing consulting services from Florida to Colorado. Damian also, for several years, held project development and business development roles with Lillibridge, one of the nation’s largest developers, owners, and managers of MOBs. His previous career experience includes senior project development positions with MMBC (now part of Lillibridge/Ventas), as well as with a major healthcare design/build firm. His first career opportunity, while still in college, was working as a medical space planner and consultant for Drexel Toland and Associates in his hometown, Memphis, TN, before shifting to real estate development in the mid 1990’s. He has worked with thousands of physicians and hundreds of hospitals since 1983.
Damian earned an Architectural degree from the University of Memphis, and contributed to the American Hospital Association sponsored book, “Hospital-Based Medical Office Buildings”. He is highly networked and is a frequent speaker at medical real estate events nationally.
